Unwanted Whales... NBO

I'm trying to trade mine off. And I'm thinking that one of my submissions must be in the top 3-5.

 

Wait... we can't all have the #1 spot?

 

I know there are quite a few above the ones I submitted, I just hope I find someone looking for one of them and have one I want!!

 

I think a lot of us are in this boat. What's the point of joining if you're going to rank your beer above everything else? I started making my rankings for the initial list last night and only have 5 beers below mine so far.

 

That's what I think is potentially awesome about this BIF, is it could allow for multiple tiers of "whale" trading.

Some will be in contention for the big dogs, while some will be happy with the mid to lower tier whales.

 

Any chance us non-whale owning noobs can take a peek at this epic list?

 

We're planning on shipping end of the month correct? I'll be in Mexico starting the 26th of May so hopefully the Whale box will arrive before then

^I'm with you on hoping boxes go out before the end of the month, I graduate with my Master's on May 14th and wouldn't mind a nice bottle to celebrate with

question...in the math trades i partook in you could only choose 3 beers to rank above you puts. in the hype train you could rank the entire list above your beer. i am hoping that this BIF is more like the hype train because if we can only rank 3 beers above ours, i doubt there will be more than a few matches since we'll all aim for the same 5 to 10 beers.

 

I think I understand this correctly, but just for clarification-- if we rank a beer under our own, we won't receive that one, correct?

I actually thought we didn't need to rank any of the beers below ours (the ones we don't want). I have ranked the beers I want in exchange for mine ahead of mine and I did not rank any of the others. Hope that is correct.
