Lagunitas Taproom Waldos' Special Release on 4/20

    Anyone going to be at the taproom that day? I am definitely going to try to make it

    Beta Lounge in Berkeley is supposed to be tapping a keg of this on 4/20 as well.

    As will Toronado and many, many other bars. I'd be curious to get up to Lagunitas proper if they've got some other special kegs hanging out...

    Definitely sounds like they are tapping special versions of Waldos'.

    It's ambiguous. The name of the beer is Waldo's Special, so they could just mean they'll have a limited number of kegs of the main beer.

    I had an BBA Imperial stout from Lagunitas this year at Brewbies that blew me away. No idea if it was a one off thing but god I hope they start bottling and selling it via the "Sucks" method.

    Shack is tapping at 4:20. I'm sure others spots must have some as well, but Shack is doing a bike crawl. (edit: Sam Horne's, too)

    Starts at de Vere's at 11:30, then to Golden Bear at 2:00, then to Shack.

    Not a one off, but to my knowledge has never been bottled. This was the beer that got me fired up for BBA beers when I first had it at the beer revolution 3 years ago. So good!

    I doubt it will be this year, its starting to get a reputation. Last year it was around into late may atleast though so if you are in the area hopefully you can get your fill

    That is a close hotel, perfect positioning! I live less than a mile away which works too. Police are NOTORIOUSLY rude about everything in Petaluma and especially around Lagunitas for trying their hardest to bust people leaving, so be sure to drive no where, especially on an event day like that.

    Good Karma, Original Gravity, Wine Affairs, O'Flahertys and the San Pedro Square Market in SJ are having a 4/20 Lagunitas Pub Crawl with Waldo being tapped at each location. Should be good times.
