The tropical fruit fades extremely fast with this beer. There's about 3 weeks from the day it's bottled in my experience, after that time piney bitterness kicks in. We've got to bug the everloving shit out of our distributors to not let this sit a single day in their warehouses.

I'm done with all the tropical (I)IPA's. Piney seems to sadly be a fading trend.

I like both, but tropical citrus goodness is my fave.

I really want to try Surly Over Rated.

I just want my DIPAs to be hoppy, and not so much like I went half/half with orange juice and Ellisa. Endeavor is good, but its starting to be more fruity than bitter.

Sounds like you want Pliny. Balanced b/t piney and fruity.

Upslope? ... really? Cause Upslope kicks ass. They're a canning brewery as well.

Their pumpkin beer kicks some serious butt.

I was happy to see them on the list as well. They had several nice beers on tap when I visited them last summer. Can't wait to see them in TX.

Wow, Upslope!! Their Christmas beer was one of the best in that style that I think I've ever had...super excited for this!

On a random note, I had this at their brewery on Thursday. It was an odd beer but it was not bad, just would not really go out of my way to get it. I am somewhat surprised they have a label approved for it since they said it was meant solely as a test batch in the brewery.

I know... Maybe I can bum a ride down. I'd hitchhike but sometimes I show too much leg.
