    so....what's in the St. Ambroise tube? the suspense is killing me ...Oh and I found my 2013 halloween costume "WitchShark" -unless I can come up with a Ghandibot costume, new profile pic here I come!

    It's been a rough day here on in BC. I think it only went up to 15C and I saw at least one cloud. Oh well, at least I have this fantastic beer from Caudalie to cheer me up. Cheers Simon!

    So here's the picture of the haul I received

    Cantillon kriek
    Bellwoods baltic porter
    Beyond the pale double IPA
    Beau's wag the wolf hopfenweisse (quite curious, as I frequently hit Beau's and never tried this one)
    Trafalgar maple bock (worst off local)
    Bell's kalamazoo stout
    and Flying monkey's Matador 8th anniv.

    Thanx mate, drinking the bellwoods right now

    Interested in how awful that Trafalgar is tasting. The best before on it is punched as June 2011/12 (not sure, it's kinda in the middle of the two numbers). Might be some real rotten stuff right there...or Trafalgar just messed up horribly as usual on the dating. Either scenario is a real possibility.

    I know I can be a tough match but with more then 90% of new beers in that box you more then succeeded! :slight_smile:

    12 boxes out of thirty have reached their destination. My second box (Ted and I registered twice to realign some of the geographical discrepancies) arrived last night but I was out so unfortunately I only took a peak at it this morning so pictures will be coming later tonight.

    I sent my first box yesterday. It is heading west to a town I last visited 36 years ago (I was 1 year old back then) to see my grandfather who was working as an engineer in a mine located North of that town). More clues later.

    FedEx tracking tells me my box is out for delivery. If you near a city where you can see world class sporting events and Broadway calibre musical theatre in the same weekend....there might be something waiting on the porch for you later today!

    Well, they're poised to make the playoffs for the first time in 10 years. Not world class but it's a start :stuck_out_tongue:

    Turned out to be KBS instead...haven't had but sounds like a tasty one as well.
