Just flipped through this and thought it was pretty interesting. I've only had 4 or 5 of these since most are rares and not available in MA but the ones I had I enjoyed. Only swap I would have made is St.Bernardus 12 over Rochefort 10 for the style. Your thoughts?

A new site's "World's Best Beer" list that I don't completely hate? No BMC offerings in the top 10? A few whales scattered about? This is a list I approve of.

My thought is that my distaste for stouts is really preventing me from enjoying some of the best beers in the world, apparently.

Never, in a million years, would I take a St. Bernardus abt 12 over a Rochefort 10.

It's all opinion bro. If you don't like stouts, then you aren't missing out on the "best" beer in the world. Your favorite beer is the "best" in the world too, so make your own list lol.

9 out of 15 are imperial stouts. We constantly hear how it's an exciting time for beer. That may be, but some biases make things look pretty boring.

I know, I know.. I'm a big puss. I need Stouts with less coffee flavor. It's so vile. Someone said I have to try BCBS but none has randomly arrived at my door yet.. So..

Like Michigan said, this is one of the few lists that I actually DON'T HATE.

My only qualm with this list is Expedition. It's great, but top 15?

Regular Speedway Stout is barrel aged? Or are they talking the barrel aged version and just didn't put it in the title?

Great list, and this is the first time I have said this about a linked best of list. Wish I had every one of them in the cellar right now.

Pretty decent list - I have had 12 (and reviewed 9 or 10 of them) of them which is pretty good [for me].

Funny you say that about coffee. I strongly dislike a cup of coffee, but I love the smell, and I greatly enjoy coffee beers. Go figure.

BCBS has a lot less coffee flavor than KBS, for instance. If you enjoy a bourbon undertone, I think you'd enjoy BCBS. I would attempt to trade for a bottle. It was pretty available in Chicagoland this year.

Surprised to see Hopslam on here ahead of PTE. Not that I don't care for Hopslam, but I just thought Elder was better.

This. It's not nearly rare or expensive enough to warrant its spot in the top 15.
