Howdy, folks! My name is Will and my mind was recently blown away by Great Divide's Espresso Oak Aged Yeti. My local bar is doing a takeover featuring Great Divide and I was wondering what some of you beautiful people think about the beers that'll be tapped. The list is as follows, any suggestions or thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

    Titan IPA
    Colette Farmhouse Ale
    Nomad Pils
Chocolate Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout!
    Hercules 2IPA
    Heyday White Ale
    Hoss Rye Lager
    Orabelle Tripel

Titan is a great IPA example

Go for the Chocolate Oak Aged Yeti. Rare on tap in the great New York area.

    This is easy

    Titan: Awesome
    Colette: Great
Nomad: Didn't like it but I don't like most Czech Pilsners
Chocolate Yeti: Fantastic (has a bit of a spicy burn to it)
    Hercules: Amazing
    Heyday: Haven't had it
Hoss: Best Marzen I've ever had and I generally don't like the style
    Orabelle: Good, not great

Note: All of these except Hercules I've only had in the bottle so I guess I'm not the best source. Have fun!

I absolutely love Hercules on tap. In bottles, it's great but on tap, for me anyhow, it's phenomenal

I've had Titan, Hercules, and the Chocolate Oak Age Yeti before and highly recommend them.

Colette is a pretty good Farmhouse ale, probably my favorite next to Yeti.

The one to really watch out for is their mid-summer seasonal, Rumble. It should be hitting the shelves in July.

Of that list, I've had the Titan, Colette, Hercules and Orabelle. If I had to rank those four, it would be as follows:

    Orabelle
    Colette
    Titan/Hercules
    Hercules/Titan

However, for some context, I have had the Belgian-style Yeti, and it would rank above all four of those, so if I had to guess, I would probably put the Chocolate Yeti above all of them. Obviously, I'm extrapolating quite a bit there...

I also have a Heyday sitting in my fridge, and my friends who've had it were not that impressed, but I don't think they truly appreciate witbiers.

They are all great, but the Hercules and Chocolate Oaked will likely be the best. While Hoss, Heyday, and Nomad on the lower, lighter end of things.

Titan IPA - Solid representation of the style.
Colette Farmhouse Ale - Easy drinker.
    Nomad Pils - Meh.
Chocolate Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout!-Damn well better be excited about this one! (tough I prefer the espresso)
    Hercules 2IPA - A favorite.
Heyday White Ale - Meh. Good lawnmower beer.
    Hoss Rye Lager - Underwhelming.
    Orabelle Tripel - Surprisingly good.

GD does great stuff, their Yeti variants are what they do best though, make no mistake.

Mix the expresso and the chocolate yeti. They should sell this. Simply amazing.

I was just talking to my friend about this brewery the other day and realized I've only had the regular Yeti. Need to try some more of their stuff.

Forgot to mention Hades. I know it's not on the OP's list, but it's a fantastic Belgian Strong Pale Ale.

Although someone else mentioned that they thought it was getting discontinued. Which would be a crying shame.

EDIT: it actually looks like they still brew it, but only include it in certain sampler packs.

    The more you know!

The person that mentioned the possibility of it getting discontinued originally said it to me, and since then I have been traveling store to store around the area and have found it in its normal 6 pack at every one of them. Dosnt look like it is in short supply, but like I said in the other thread, this could just be the last of it. Hope its not though because i love it!

I really think Great Divide is to me as New Belgium is to so many others. I have had 6 or 7 of their beers and they are all really good. I haven't come across a bad beer yet. Enjoy them all.

I'll try and help by giving some feedback on the beers I have tried.

Titan IPA: A solid IPA. I prefer others but its not bad.

Colette Farmhouse Ale: Had this on tap at the brewery and thought it was excellent.

Chocolate Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout!: This is an awesome beer. The oak is not nearly as pronounced as in espresso or oak aged yeti, but its super smooth and drinkable.

Hercules 2IPA: A very solid DIPA. Not a citrus/aroma explosion, but smooth, crisp, and hoppy.

Orabelle Tripel: I've not actually had this one yet, but everyone at the brewery seemed to love it.

Everything GD brews is gold. Titan is exceptional, Hercules is top 2 best DIPA's I've ever had. And Yeti (any variation) is my favorite imperial stout. You can't go wrong with Great Divide. In my opinion, it is the best brewery out there. Even beats Founders.
