Founders to Iowa

No problem. And if my understanding is correct (and nothing changes) we should be getting the seasonal/specialties distributed by then so you should be in luck.

 

Stopped in at Beer Crazy today they had Red Rye, and Dirty Bastard I thought a Facebook post said they had the IPA but I couldn't find it on the shelf. I am trying the Red Rye for the first time and have to say its great!

 

Has anyone found this in Waterloo/CF yet? University Ave. Wine and Spirits told me they thought it'd be in Friday, but I was in there Saturday (March 24th) and no dice.

 

Based on the website, we should be eligible for their complete lineup.

 

99% sure it isn't a rumor, but it is in the beginning stages, so I don't think we will see it on shelves any time soon.

 

Sorry, to clarify, I don't think Stone coming to Iowa is a rumor, its more a matter of when from my understanding.

We get our shipments from Fleck on Tuesdays. Also, I can see why the porter is gone already. We were only able to secure 3 cases total. Founders is great stuff, but too pricey to drink regularly.

 

Founders finally showed up in Cedar Falls today. Large amount of Centennial IPA, Reds Rye PA, Porter, and Dirty Bastard at Wine and Spirits on University Ave. Picked up some of the Porter myself.

 

Hy Vee Wine and Spirits Manager in Waterloo told me a couple of weeks back that Stone to Iowa was a done deal. Take that for what its worth.

 

My understanding is that is pretty much the case. 95% anyway, things can always change.

 

Stone reps were in Iowa yesterday checking out distributors so that's a good sign. It sounds more and more like an actuality as opposed to a rumor.

 

Super fresh Founders in Cedar Rapids right now. Got some pale bottled on the 3rd and IPA bottled on the 2nd. Picked it up at Benz.

 

Great to hear, they first told me it'd be at least two weeks ago.
