Deviant Dale's....great beer. Followed by a Fort Collins Rocky Mountain IPA....might have to re-taste this on a fresh palate as I didnt really care for it.

Talk about creatures of habit, anybody know how to revise a thread title to avoid confusion, hate for those under the influence of a few tasty beverages getting confused!

    also, uncharacteristic starters for me:

Hop Ottin, not a huge fan, and DFH Saison du Buff, ehh. Will need to move towards something more my style shortly.

Splitting a growler of Flying Dog Wildeman with my dad and my brother. Not a bad Belgian IPA. My brother and I are about to do a side-by-side with a 2011 and 2012 KBS. So excited!

Founders Dirty Bastard as soon as I got home. Walked the dog, cooked dinner, now sipping on a Bear Republic Racer 5.

Very nice. I couldn't tell much of a difference from the nose of each, but the flavors were quite distinct. The 2007 was surprisingly smooth and mellow, but still has a nice oaky vanilla flavor. It was pretty drinkable. As they got younger, obviously the alcohol got more aggressive and the taste got sweeter and more intense. I don't have a lot of experience with this beer, but it seems to age nicely (at 14-15% abv, it has no excuse not to).
