I had 1 last week, and I thought it was pretty damn good right now, but another month certainly wont hurt it

Ya, I heard it was a Weizenbock with coco nibs, in Bourbon barrels. Though I don't really believe anything until the two SA guys chime in. Way to much speculation otherwise.

The BB3 was changed from weizenbock to the bourbon barrel RIS due to production issues. The weizenbock will still happen, most likely BB4. Why are we doing another bourbon barrel stout? Because it works. There's a reason why most barrel aged beers you drink are bourbon barrel stouts. Tried and true. The base stout recipe uses a different yeast strain than BB1. More rounded flavors in my opinion.

Will it be thicker? I like my BBA Stouts like motor oil.

Looking forward to it, I <3 BBA Stouts - I'll be after this one hard.

Also, BB1 is the ONLY BBA Stout I've had where you can clearly taste the wood in it - Will BB3 follow suit?

I found BB1 to be a little thin

I hope BB3 is a bit heavier on the stout profile

Drinking a #1 now. Figured I'd revisit my prior statement. Maybe my palate is off but it's definitely not getting better..not worse mind you but for sure not better...a little soy sweetness that maybe I missed before not in a bad way but perhaps it's peaked.

I figured that would be the case. I would've put money on this maybe becoming an issue.

I'll open one tonight too and report back.
