DIPAs without hesitation. If I could only drink Heady, Pliny, or Dread I'd be more than happy. I'd pass on all other styles to have those stocked in my fridge at all times I think.

I'm going to have to go with hefeweizen on this one.

I second this though. But I can't get Pliny or Heady. So Hop Stoopid, 90min, and Artic Panzer will have to make due. There are just so many great dipas.

Witbier/Hefeweizen. It's those kinds of beers that got me into craft and it's that style I look forward to Spring and Summer to spend my time drinking.

either stouts, because of the variety from hoppy stouts to thick, rich, malty stouts or barleywines with the hoppier versions and then the malty, oaky, leathery complex ones.

Barleywine! So complex, so smooth and drinkable. Some are hoppy, some are like sweet caramel and fruit, some are well carbonated, some have virtually none. This is truely the drink of Kings... so uh, yeah... Barleywine.

I was gonna say Tripels meself. I guess my tolerance would eventually build so I wouldn't be knocked out half way through the evening.

IPAs for sure. I'm including English and Belgian IPAs as well so there is a decent variety to prevent palate fatigue.

The truth is that the majority of beer drinkers DO restrict themselves to one beer style-and it's generally adjunct lager or something like it.
My formative beer drinking years were governed by what was on sale-mild, bitter and if you wanted bottled beer, brown ale. Plus of course Guinness which was at one time sold in every pub in the country. The point is though that we never missed what we never had and loved our nightly visits to the pub.

Probably ambers. I'd have Troegs NN and Hopback Amber when I need a lupulin and then I could move onto Anderson Valley Boont Amber for an easy drinking malty beer.

I'm riding with you on this one. I brew my own Saisons as well as drink the brewery made ones. I recently brewed one and fermented with Brettanomyces. I like the variety saisons bring along with refreshing qualities... hoppy, sweet, sour, dry, juicy, belgian yeast spiciness, peppery, citrusy (orange or lemon), dark or light straw yellow colors. Ill take them all if I had to pick only one style.
