Definitely seems interesting enough to try. I wonder what "style" they would call this beer ...

If the ingredients are in order of magnitude, its scary

I was thinking that too. Aren't ingredients labelled in order of prominence?

Sounds like a gruit/wild ale mixed with a Belgian pale, should be in stores in a week or two

I'm going to guess, an India Pale Wit, although seriously this looks like a Pale Ale/Gruit hybrid. I love Gruit beer, so I'm definitely in on this one.

I had it yesterday - bought it at the Beer Boutique (never had actually been). It was very good, more of a Belgian Pale/Gruit, but suspect that there is some wheat in there (kind of cloudy). I didn't take detail notes, but it is for sure worth a try. The spices didnt over power it.

Any idea if it's getting listed at the LCBO?

As per Muskoka's Facebook page (yesterday):

Hey folks! Be sure to stop by the retail store between 11am-7pm today and pick up a bottle or two of Spring Oddity! Available exclusively in the retail store this week! It'll hit the LCBO store shelves shortly!

Alright, I just had it from the Barton and Ottawa LCBO (they have an actual beer cooler so it's properly stored) and I have to say, it's well worth the $10 price tag. I'd call it a Belgian Pale Gruit or a Canadian Clusterbeer. Top tier as far as I am concerned.

I just had this tonight as well. Very good beer but fairly hot. There is nothing unique about this to me either. I just get a typical Belgian Strong Ale. A good beer, but not a memorable one for me.

I spent the big $ and had it last night. I think you guys are going overboard in trying to peg the beer into a narrow category. Belgian pale? Clusterbier? Gruit? C'mon now. I call it a really good, although expensive, Belgian style beer. Too bad I can't afford to make it my regular tipple. Muskoka makes damn good beer. (Avatar: me and a Westy 10)

I'm not a big fan of Belgian-style beers, but I found it tasty (though I preferred Winter Beard and Harvest Ale styles). That said, the price tag is too much for me to buy any more since I'll typically only pay that much for imperial stouts or IPAs.
