That's a new can from the last time I had it years ago. Any idea what the 95% malt means? What's the other five percent? Hops?

I'm all but assuming that the remaining 5% refer to the adjuncts included in the grist (malt bill). Meaning 95% is malt and produces the alcohol when converted and the 5% adjuncts just contribute mouthfeel to the finished beer.

Thanks. I see that now I suppose I should have checked first. I honestly won't miss it.

TOP - Moosehead / Labatt Blue / Old Style

BOTTOM - Tough as hell. Bud light platinum, Milwaukee's best, and Keystone .....but I could go on and on.....

Would normally put at the bottom Corona Light, but not sure if that can be called beer, even in the loosest of terms.

A lot of love for Narrangansett. PBR seems to be a love/hate thing. Interesting.

For simplicity and sake of arguments...lets assume if BA classifies it as an AAL then that is safe to include. I saw a few Euro Lagers, 1 or 2 Bocks and other American styles that aren't BA classified AAL's. Sure there could be some debatable ones, but lets keep it simple.

Best- Grain Belt, Schlitz Gusto, Old Style. Not ashamed to say I keep these stocked pretty heavy

Worst- Boxer Ice, Rolling Rock, and prolly some Ice beer I can't think of.

Hell I drink AALs quite a bit. I love me some Schlitz. Old Style is classic ball game brew and Grain Belt I've drank since I was like 15.

Sadly this is probably the style where I have the most experience - not just in terms of volume of beer, but number of different beers as well.

    Top:
    1. Red Stripe (haven't had it in years now and I dunno if it'd stay in this spot if I re-reviewed it, but whatever)
    2. PBR
    3. Tusker Premium Lager

    Bottom:
    1. Old Milwaukee Ice - still the only beer I've ever drainpoured
    2. Milwaukee's Best Ice
    3. Keystone Ice

A reality check here. Some of the best beers brewed are adjunct brews.Doesn't anyone use roasted barley or candi sugar in the US? And it's not uncommon for all malt beers to suck. Heineken comes to mind though not American.
