Hop Patrol tweeted yesterday that the Feds had approved. Release to be "within a month or so". Clark - how many bottles will be available? Stoked to try this for the first time.

Whatever... Clark where and when can I buy some Mornin' Delight. That is the beer that all other beers shall be compared to, at least by my taste buds

Looking forward to hopefully trying this and going to the release. My only wish was the Mplsmetro would trade me one of his MD's. Haha...seriously though!

I think Kentucky Brunch is basically a barrel-aged version of Mornin' Delight.

I heard it was aged in 20 year old Chilean wine barrels.

When I think Kentucky...I think Chilean wine.

I don't know why, but I legit laughed out loud at this.

While most 20 year old Chilean wines are not flat by any means I feel they still need a lot more "wood" time to really bring them age. Something only a mature 28 year old barrel can do. Just my opinion though...

You're the one who had to bring up 20yr old Chilean wine...

Bottle count on Kentucky Brunch will probably be around 250-300 12oz bottles. More information to come.

I suggest you make a day of it. The surrounding area is beautiful countryside and full of fun stuff to do. Wife and I drive down regularly. I get growler fills and a pint of whatever, lunch at Mabes and during good weather we go to Dunnings Spring Park and hike the waterfall trails. Also, there is lots of cool stuff in the stores downtown Decorah. I always stock up on Geueze Tilquin at the co-op. Good price for a beer I cant seem to find in my neck of the woods.

If you need any other suggestions, BM me and I'd be glad to point you in the right direction.

I will take you up on that! Iowa.... A place where the beer flows like wine and where beautiful woman instinctively flock like salmon of the Capistrono!
