    how's the 16th Aniversary drinking? there's one left on the shelf at the store I work at, been tempted to buy it. the one I had around Christmas was pretty damn good.

    Tyranena Shaggin' in the Wood. It's a tasty brew, and the Brewer's Gone Wild series is always a good value, I just wish they would go balls to the walls with their barrel aging. It always seems restrained. The best example is Dirty Old Man. If they did 100% barrel aged on that one I think it could be amongst the very best in the style. Ditto on this one. Backwoods Bastard it ain't.

    it's still drinking really good I say buy it!!!! Very citrusy!!! Which I like but you need to drink it real soon the hops have faded away

    A good bit of truth to that. I feel like its mellow and complex, but doesn't have that bite that BWB has. Some people prefer that, I don't seem to, not so much. Still, great value and awesome beer regardless of the whole barrel blending thing.

    Wrapping up my vacation in Cali just cracked the RR Sanctification with 3 of my family members who have never had craft beer..they all loved it! That is what this is all about, share the love people![​IMG]
