Allagash has never been on my radar much, my fault. But these sound really different, and will seek out. Thanks!

If anybody is planning on going to this release and is looking to trade, I am tons of Great Lakes brewery release beers I would trade for some of these. I'll be at DLD and in Wisconsin this weekend too.

Just so someone who doesn't read the link above jumps up and runs to their car (which I totally did not just do), this release is for May 18th...

is this a 2 bottle TOTAL limit or 2 bottles for each?

I would assume each. as this is usually how Allagash does their brewery only releases (besides Resurgam which was 4 per person). Not sure on Ghoulship's release a while back.

actually, i was at the ghoulschip release almost 2 years ago and it was a 10 bottle limit

this would be awesome but there is a lot more interest in 'sour' beer after two years. probably the reason why it's 2.

As much as I'd like to try the 3 I haven't had, at $15 per single serve bottle, these are off my radar.

I don't think $15 for a bottle of some extremely underrated sours is unreasonable by any means. All of the Coolship Series beers have been top notch and Old HLT is an amazing wild ale. Excited to try it with Currants instead of Cherries (can anyone confirm this is the fruit it was aged on? i heard this rumor)

Allagash has been putting out top notch wild ales for years. I find it hard to believe that people will drive 4 hours to wait in line at HF for a Flander's Red when these four beers are being released at Allagash all in one day. And trust me I love HF as much as any other BA.

Believe me, I'd love to try them. But if I'm having a high-end sour hankering I can also go buy Cascade 750's for $20 and 3F oude Geuze (750) for around $20. The price point is just a bit steep for me personally.

Teds in Charlton has 3 2011 Sang Noirs left for 16 a piece... pretty much a steal if you live close by.

Also I will be attending this awesome event. Does anyone know if they allow bottle sharing? I would be totally stoked if they did and would love to share some brews with people!

When you go they have a tiny section of all craft brews between the wine and the liquor. Its a small tall rack. They will be on the left side on the very bottom rack, from there move the Blasphemy and you shall claim your prize(s)! haha

They clarified on Facebook and/or Instagram: it's 2 bottles per person, TOTAL.

Their release limits vary widely. 2 or 4 or 10 per at "event" style releases, 2 or 4 per for silent releases. Red, Resurgam and FV13 were all 4 per most recently, but Cerise was 2 per most recently.
