    The Alchemist - RIP
Portsmouth Brewery - but I haven't been since Tod Mott left, so ???
Cambridge Brewing Co. - got married there so I will always have a soft spot for them
Revolution was pretty darn good. mmmm bacon fat popcorn....
Spinnakers - great food, house made vinegars, solid beer, and awesome view from the deck
Bridgeport - doesn't seem to get much respect from local beer geeks after moving to the new place, but I loved it. Happy hour small plates, fresh baked bread, and well made, half priced beer make me so happy

Literally everything. Favor IPAs and stouts, but all beer is good beer to me. Somewhere that does pairings would be awesome.

I'll put them on the list. I arrive the day of the game, which is a Wednesday, but will be staying through to Friday morning. I was planning on hitting up the Great Lakes Brewery on Thursday and the the R&RHOF. Is a trip to the brewery worth it, or should I just hit one of those pubs instead?

Even though I'm not a huge fan of the owner, Churchill's Pub is my watering hole of choice. Technically not a brewpub but the establishment has beer made exclusively for them, so it's a grey area.

One of the best beer selections in San Diego, if not the country, and constantly rotating taps. Plus all the cool kids hang out there and I don't get charged a corkage fee!

Calistoga Inn had a bad fire last year and is closed. Set to reopen in july though! They make good weekend brunch in addition to still being a pretty good brewpub 20 years later.

Bull & Bush is my favorite for food pairing; and they will make you happy with IPA's. As far as breweries: Avery, Great Divide, Dry Dock, Breckenridge, Strange Brewing Co., (notice I am leaving out New Belgium) are all in the area. I would go to Bull & Bush and pick people's brains about places for pairing (I know more about breweries that serve pretzels) :flushed:

Remember fondly doing a brewpub crawl with my best friend over the course of 10 days starting in Palo Alto up to Arcata and back to San Francisco after hitting Sacremento.

The Calistoga inn was a highlight as was sitting at another brewpub in Marin looking at the sailboats watching Playoff football(1993, as that was the Buffalo Bills comeback game against Houston) at 10:00 am in the morning(which seemed so odd as I am from the east coast)

But do they have Old Ale?

(did they ever finish the floor, or is it still just dirt?)

Thank you friend!! All those breweries are already on our list. So stoked to be so close to so many great breweries. The wifey and I have recently gotten into sours as well. How's the sour scene out there? Anything local happening, and does Denver get a lot of northwest products?

Been to quite a few and here are my favorites:

    • Kona Brewery/Brewpub in Kona, Hawaii- Outside of being in Hawaii, the brewpub had some FANTASTIC beers that blew my expectations away. So great I went there three different times while hopping around the Big Island.
    • New Belgium- Fully expected to like Avery, Oskar Blues, and Odell (especially Odell) more, but New Belgium was a damn cool place and there beer, especially the sours, were much better than I expected.
    • Flat 12- Fairly new and quite the small place, Flat 12 is fairly plain to look at but the beer was fantastic.
    • Flossmoor Station- A brewpub in an old train station, especially with the selection they have the day before DLD happens? YES PLEASE
Honorable Mention- Goose Island Clybourne, Three Floyds, West Sixth, Country Boy, and Against the Grain

Oh, I'll be heading to Half Acre, Revolution, and Pipeworks next week so one of these may be making the list
