Parabola in Chicago

Aaaaaaand Chicago Beverage Systems has delayed it AGAIN.

 

Evanston First, although I was told I got one of the last bottles.

 

Lincolnwood Wine & Spirits got it in this a.m.

 

Ill be coming up to Chicago visiting friends in Wisc do you think any will be left tomorrow? Anyone have any good places to check along the way driving up?

 

let me know if you see delicious boltcutter and FMB anywhere in the Chicago area?

 

The Binny's in both Bolingbrook and Naperville got it in yesterday and were sold out by about 4 PM, so I struck out there.

I heard an interesting story about the Binny's Lombard intentionally delaying their release until noon on Saturday in correlation with DLD. I don't want to spread false rumors, but from what I know, this is intentional for some reason.

 

Binny's Niles got it in this morning. Only a few bottles left when I went there about 20 minutes ago.

I feel good about going to liquor stores at 10:45 AM.

 

Binny's Downers Grove and Willowbrook are doing this as well.

 

Oops, Lombard/Downers Grove = same location. I keep calling it Lombard.

 

Just call it Vince's House of Greatness.

 

That is far easier to remember.

 

Sold out at Plainfield Binnys in under an hour

 

Damn it, I remember when I could walk in after work taking my time and grab a few bottles. Now I do not even bother searching after work because I know it will already be gone.

 

Too bad it hasn't made it to Castle Vav yet. Nice running into Vav there though. He has some goodies there for sure- specially for us out of towners who are here this weekend!

 

Moreno's on 26th had it Friday afternoon. Also still some Sucaba on the shelves, and the 16 Anniversary Ale as well.

Prices have a gone up and supply has gone down. sad face.

 

I drove to Berwyn to pay $20 in rush hour traffic and lost 90 minutes of my life....this is what craft beer has come to. Now I know what rich suburb kids feel like when they're trying to get some smack in the city
