Deschtues Imperial Smoked Porter

    Am not familiar with this beer, but noticed that it is currently on tap at Belmont Station (current tap list there is very, very impressive). Has anyone else ever tried it? The only reference I can find to it, is that the beer was on tap during the HAF this past year.

    If the beer which ends up in bottles is the same as the Imperial Smoked Porter they were pouring at the Holiday Ale Fest, I will be a very happy man. That beer was outstanding. It had a gorgeous balance between roastiness, chocolate/coffee, and a substantial but not overpowering smokiness. Excellent body and mouthfeel too.

    It was a leftover keg from HAF that we've been sitting on for 5 months.

    I had it at the Holiday Ale Festival, and if I remember correctly (which I do not guarantee) it was one of my favorites of the event. Definitely go get yourself a glass.
