I barely had St Feuillien Grand Cru this year.. and that was an incredible drinking experience. Clown Shoes Muffin Top is coming in second, so far. Sucks a solid third. An honorable mention to Enjoy By for being tasty (yet maybe a couple dollars more than its worth).

Sierra Nevada barrel-aged Bigfoot, this beer was amazing to me. It was like 3-4 different beers it seemed throughout the stages of it warming up. Definitely a caramelized, burnt sugar, oaky, resinous, vanilla bomb. Second for me was Prairie Artisan Ales Prairie Hop, was pleasantly surprised with this one. And of course KBS.

Pliny the younger, especially when you factor in the whole experience at RR. It's like a 2 week party with an unmatched beer and you get to talk with great people who came from all over to try it.

Until this weekend I hadn't been that excited about anything I've tried so far this year. But then I tried these two.

    Pizza Port Bacon & Eggs
Brew By Numbers 01/02 (amarillo and orange saison)

The underrated Two Brothers Side Kick is outstanding and easy to get. Three Floyds Rye da Tiger was amazing and anything Pipeworks.

I don't think you can get it anywhere on line. If I had another bottle I'd trade you one but my shop only got 1 case of it and I only got 1 bottle.

My cousin gave me a bottle of Cascade Apricot Ale as a gift when he came down from Portland. Haven't opened it yet but can't wait. Visited the brewery once and pretty much everything I had was amazing.

Red Swingline, a sour IPA from Trinity in Colorado. It is an amazing, truly eye-opening beer.

Kuhnhenn Bourbon Barrel Solar Eclipse. My wife actually told me to shut up I talked about this beer so much as I drank it.

Sucks. We don't get some of the top rated beers in Tennessee, due to our benevolent legislators. But, if there is a better DIPA than Sucks, I don't know if I could stand it.

I can't say if one tops the list, but wow, that Stone Espresso I.R.S. is (for lack of a better phrase) f'in AWESOME!

So good, even my wife was impressed with it (and she is never impressed by beer). She even thanked me for buying it!?
