CANBIF 2013 Hints & Hauls

    My box is out for delivery!

    So if you live somewhere that is roughly a 40 hour drive from Toronto, in a city that has both an NHL and CFL team you may have a box waiting for you when you get home.

    Arrived home after a long day to this awesomeness! Thanks heaps Peensteen!

    I was like a kid at Christmas. What a haul =). Some serious barrel aged goodness here. Never had any of these apart from a couple of ounces of Kunhhenn Olde Ale at a tasting (which was great). I have heard really good things about Bellwoods.

    Here's a list of the haul.

    Kuhnhenn: Olde Ale

    Nickel Brook: Cuvee 2012 Bourbon Barrel aged
    Muskoka: Twice Mad Tom IPA
    Great Lakes Brewery: 25th Anniversary RIS

    Wow. Thanks again! And thanks to Sevenduffs and Phyl21ca for putting this years CANBIF together. Rreally enjoyed being part of it.

    So I checked the tracking information and by box isn't slated to land until May 6th. Doh!

    Ah well...

    HINT: My box is heading to a province that has at least one team that has qualified for the NHL playoffs...

    Ok, said I was going to post my swag recipe. Still need to put together the marshmallow one, but here is my stout mustard while you patiently wait :wink:

    Awesome! Will be trying that this weekend.

    And looking forward to getting my beer maybe soon? Weather is around 20 all week here..maybe that will happen out west too :slight_smile:

    So maybe I don't understand how Canada Post works, or maybe their tracking system sucks but yesterday my package was in transit in the nearest major centre to my target... Yet somehow the package still won't be delivered until May 6th??

    I guess they must be using sloth based transportation for the last 100 miles...

    I wouldnt be worried about this. I had package that were supposed to be delivered in 7 days and ended up being delivered after 4.
