Problem with CBS is limited maple bourbon barrels. Believe the company they source from is relatively small and thus always limits the amount they're able to produce.

The idea that cashew mountain brown is too expensive to me is absurd. If it costs more, then sell it for more. It's not like it wouldn't sell for $30 a bottle.

Is Cashew Mountain Brown maple bourbon aged? Newb question....I've had it before....maybe 2 or 3 years ago at the taproom. Way before I really began to appreciate craft beer.

Am I the only one praying for BB Sumatra Mountain Brown? No sign of it since KBS day 2012.

But my god what a glorious day that was. I almost want to leave that memory in there as it made the entire night before fade away with that beautiful liquid every time it hit my lips.

Would love if they bottled Panther Cub into bottles. It's a porter aged in maple syrup bourbon barrels. I doubt it gets released in July since they would never release a stout in July. However, wishful thinking is in November.

KBS day 2012 was the absolute best beer event I've ever been too. Still upset they made it a ticked event. And later on that night going double fisted with KBS in one hand and BB Sumatra in the other. Every sip of that sweet nectar was an instant "beergasm" moment. Oh the memories.

I met a Founder's rep the other day during craft beer week and he said that it will be a fruit beer along the lines of blushing monk. He also said they're aiming to have CBS out again in 2015...they are working on getting the barrels ready, which he said takes a year alone and then another year just to age the beer.

Just so we are clear, beer reps generally know next to nothing regarding what is being brewed, aged, and released.

Yeah that's probably a bunch of bull cause they made Panther Cub with the same barrels they age CBS in this year. They've had enough Panther Cub on tap the past 10 days at Founders. They could have easily made CBS with those barrels but they just chose not to. Although I really enjoy Panther Cub since it's their Porter made with Vanilla Bean's aged in Maple Bourbon Barrels for a year.

Black Biscuit and Cashew Mountain Brown are the only two beers I am hoping for.

Cashew Mountain Brown is one of the few beers I dream of tasting again.

Yes, it was called Panther Cub. Not sure the base beer they used as it was much thicker than the regular porter. I would love to see this as the fall release!

Blis sells for $25 at Binny's in Chicago, as much as I want to support CBS and GR in general it's a bit much for some syrup.

I was told by an employee at Founders that it's their porter made instead with Vanilla bean. I love how they've made enough of it that it's stuck around the brewery for a couple weeks. Also I asked the employee if they had any plans to bottle anytime soon and he said they didn't. So it probably won't come out by November unfortunately. But wishful thinking is it will be some future backstage beer.

Picked some up in GR when I was there for the KBS release. It's pretty awesome.

Breakfast stout pancakes and BliSS is pure heaven. Plus it is actually only $15-$20 tops at most stores.

Can I press "like" 50 more times on this? That's the damn beer that pulled me back into the world of whale hunting...
