I know it was at Julios and is gone now but has anyone seen it around the Boston area? I'm curious to see how much shows up.

my friend got a bottle of BCBS coffee from some place in boston (probably marty's or bauer, possibly gordon's) that only got 6 bottles. i wanted to grab some for a trading partner, but i don't think he'll be able to score another.

Seems like there was a lot less bramble to go around than coffee.

I heard 20 cases of coffee and 10 of bramble but no idea if that is true. The only place I heard that had bramble was Julios, anyone know where the other cases went? Did any bars take it?

Just to let people know, Wampum is out now, I missed the bramble and coffee by a couple hours but was able to grab the last king henry. When I asked the guy at the store about it his response was "I bet you're on BA"lol

Wow. King Henry just sitting on the shelf still? Quite envious. Was able to get Coffee and Bramble this year but thought Henry was long gone. If anyone knows of a another place that might possibly have a King Henry lying around or in the back room somewhere could you PM me? Thanks!

If anybody knew the answer to that question it would already be gone.

Honestly, that is exactly opposite of how I perceive BeerAdvocate to be, and the users who frequent this site. I'm also sure the founders Jason and Todd would agree with me on this. This is a community, it says it right on the page, and I for one do not believe BA's to be a bunch of cut-throat pirates who want to take it all and give nothing back. I've already met a bunch of very knowledgeable, giving people on here who are happy to share what they know to help you out in any way they can. It doesn't matter if it was a Bud Light Platinum or a King Henry, if I knew where there were some, or at least 1, I would be glad to tell someone. Just because they might know where it is, doesn't mean it is all gone already either. A lot of stores keep such items in the back rooms, as I'm sure you know...and sometimes it takes someone on the inside who knows the store to shed light to that information. I am out hunting for beers all the time, I've helped a bunch of people out with finding beers that they had no clue where to locate them, just because I thought that's what this community is about. I'm fairly new to the site, and posting especially, but it really gets to me when people are negative and just trying to hammer down on someone as if they know nothing or shouldn't have said anything in the first place. Way too many condescending tones from some people on here. Still interested in locating a King Henry for myself IF someone was willing to divulge that information to me, if they indeed had it. Thank you.

Not all but quite a few.

No one on this board is going to tell someone where an "extra" rare beer is until after they've gotten theirs. That's just the way it is.

I understand that completely. Obviously if it was the last bottle and they bought it, then they wouldn't have any reason to even name where it was in the first place, right? Also, just because it's a rare beer on the shelf, and they see it, doesn't necessarily mean they're going to buy it. They may not even want it, but still see it.
