Store near me got it. $25 for 12 oz.

I've only had Oude Tilquin as a geuze before. Should I be spending this money on hunting down Cantillon instead? Or should I just pick it up anyway?

It's really good, I'd say it's worth it once to try at that price.

This is one of the best geuzes I've had to date, and I've had many. Expensive, but totally worth it.

I've gotten it several times at <$20, but I'd still get it at least once at that price. So good and complex.

If you like lambic then definitely. For anyone that doesn't like sours yet, I say buy it now and open it in three or four years when you really enjoy sours.

Golden Blend is about as good as it gets for gueuzes you can actually buy in stores. I'd probably grab 2 if it was me, but if you're fairly new to the style I'd definitely grab at least one.

Yes. That's not a bad price for it at all. It's quite different from the standard 3F Oude Gueuze, and in a very good way.

If you want to drink it, buy it. I hope that helps.

It's $27 a bottle by me... I stood there contemplating for a few minutes myself, but I couldn't pull the trigger

<$20 is approaching cost on the bottle...

$25 is a relatively good price in the States. That being said, this will be an unpopular opinion, buuut.....

If you can find 3F Oude Geuze, or Girardin, or can actually hunt down Cantillon, or a myriad of other options, do that instead. Golden Blend is fantastic, but I think you really have to have a pretty refined palate to enjoy it as much as it "should" be enjoyed.

If you've only ever had Tilquin before, personally, I think your money would be much better spent on a couple bottles of more available gueuze. Golden Blend isn't exactly flying off the shelves at the pricepoint, and you can probably come back later.

I've gone through about 6 bottles at the $20 a bottle price at Hunger Mountain Coop. It just started showing up in my local bottle shops for $25 a bottle and while I haven't bit the bullet yet I am sure I will when I get the hankering. It's worth it.

Worth trying, still asking too much money though. The bottle of Schaerbeekse Kriek I have was $40, also insane. For that amount of money I'd rather have a great bottle of wine anyway, but I guess I'm preaching to the wrong choir!

I bought two - will have them both in my hands on Saturday, and can't wait to give it a go. I don't have any kids, so no need to leave an inheritance, I guess.

I got it at a steal once, it could have been a mistake though. It's been $20 or more every other time.

Schaerbeekse Kriek is actually cheaper when you order from Belgium. I paid an average of $25 per 750ml bottle for it plus some Cantillion and other beers I can't easily buy here. Of course, you have to order almost a dozen bottles to get that rate. Schaerbeekse Kriek is $37 here and it's rarely available. I hope it's good. Been looking forward to trying it.

These puppies are collecting dust here at $16/17 a bottle. Expensive but a great beer.
