Last night I opened my BA Yeti, bottle# 2059, it wasnt infected, but unfortunately was way too boozy! I should of aged it for a longer period of time, but I was scared of the prospects of possible infection. Oh, well. I will track down an older version and try another one.

Opened a bottle the other week for the final four, # was in the 1800's, definitely infected. I have one more bottle, fingers crossed...

VERY INTERESTING! Just opened one of mine #2101 on Saturday and it was horribly infected. It smelled like death! Like something had died inside the bottle, just horrible. Tasted about the same. Very strange that there seems to be so much variance.....

Opened bottle 0165 a couple months ago and it was divine, for anyone wondering about lower bottle numbers

Has GD addressed this issue at all yet, other than saying they'll look into it?
That's kind of sad but I'm not really surprised.

Well, you a-holes (kidding, sort of) have convinced me to go ahead and chill and drink my last bottle (4072)... hoping for the best (or at worst something close to the rum-barrel Big Sound that was infected - seriously, a wonderful beer accidental or not.

I also am one of those that got freaked out by this thread and opened my bottle (2903) this past weekend, earlier than I expected to. Happily, I can report there was nothing to be found in the bottle but delicious beer that I would definitely seek out again.

I had bottle #0459 and feel that it could have been mildly infected. I experienced mild tart cherry aroma and taste, and a slight bit of acidity. It definitely wasn't a drain pour, but I know it wasn't as good as it should have been.

I'm eating my words. Opened a bottle at our SE Mich beer tasting. Bottle #2102 is definitely starting to get infected. Terrible aroma, solid chocolate front taste with an ashy taste at the end. I'm pissed.

Anyone hear if there is going to be any type of reimbursement from Great Divide?

Both bottles I opened before were fine.

Bottle 2159 was garbage. Fortunately 4076 tastes fine. Not nearly as bourbon-forward as it was fresh.

    Well.....0460 was definitely infected.

I cracked it this weekend with a couple of friends, and it was undrinkable. Weird sourness and an almost cheese-like smell.

    So disappointing.

Drank one last night with my family, it was really delicious. I feel like I should go buy a lotto ticket.

I have bottle 0383 that I will be opening sometime this week with my tasting group. Doesn't look hopeful if 0460 was infected, but it sounds hit-or-miss. I will let you all know soon.

The way it sounds - 0383 could be perfect while 0384 could be infected as all piss.

Opened a bottle we had been saving for my brother's bachelor party. Absolutely infected. Intolerable sourness and acid burn. And it honestly smelled like shit. I won't go as far as to say it that way on a review, but I find it sad that people are "flaming" other people for reviewing a beer honestly as to keep it's rating up.

Truth be told it is mostly just one person who clings to an argument that has more holes in it than Swiss cheese, and less reason to it than Zippy the Pinhead on quaaludes.

This thread concerns me. I keep seeing the reports grow and grow on how many people are opening infected BA Yetis. I struggled last year to get a full horizontal of the variants, and have been waiting to crack them all, but this is making me really nervous. I had hope that the BA would be the one to blow our minds, but it's going to be a huge let-down if it's infected. If I could, I'd take them all down myself, but (6) 22oz. Yeti's to the face.... don't think so.
