This is actually kind of cool, but you definitely got custied on the two on the right. Furious is typically under $10/4 pack here...Enjoy those

 

I aimt no gentlemen....and i have recently had the "limit one" Surly Dance

 

I'm used to paying $8 for a single bottle of Pliny, so unfortunately it comes with the territory. That being said, I was just pumped to see them so it was a must buy. My next Surly's will definitely come in 'trade fashion.'

Just curious on the date of the Two Hearted? I also think I could guess where you bought these....a place in East County?

To be fair though if I hadn't tried these and liked the place selling them I would pay those prices.

 

The Two Hearted was sometime in mid February - not bad, all things considered. And it was purchased somwhere in-between La Habra and Buena Park

 

Actually not where I expected, a little too far north . Out here in Va. we get pretty damn fresh Two Hearted consistently. It holds up better than most IPA's but if you could trade for a couple fresh bottles pretty easily.

 

I'd go for it too. Founders distribution in California would be awesome, but I guess the rumors have been getting squelched by those supposedly in the know.

What is going on here!? More random beers found in Southern California! (minus the Pliny of course). And to think that my main man said that I missed KBS and BCBS last week!

 

If two hearted and Furious cost that much I'm guessing Consecration was $250. That is terrible gouging, I want to vomit.

 

What is that store doing? Buying from France44 and reselling the bottles/cans?

 

That's what I'm guessing. Then marking it the hell up. I believe two hearted is like 9.99 on France, that's like 1.75 a bottle

 

Usually I get it for $14.99, but today it was $12.99. Yah!

 

While I was in NYC this past weekend, I hit a Whole Foods walking off the Rueben (w/Pastr.) I had at Katz's. Hooked the BCBS (3x) and Wookey Jack. The Enjoy By (3x @ 6.99ea) and People's Porter BBL was had down in Raleigh, NC.
