One of the places i go has a deli and I'm pretty sure one of the girls that works there says to herself when she see's me, "i wanna _ his _ off." I see it in her eyes.

I only shop at stores that respect good beer; and have respectable palated people on staff. Therefore, I get zero pretend negative thoughts about my opinions; because the owners are as like-minded as I am; and actually look to me for my opinions due to the wide variety of beers I review. I also get all the rare beer reserved for me to try lol. feelsgoodman

When I buy at "Total Wine" and sometimes get blank stares when inquiring about new releases, I'm sure they say "Why doesn't he specify Parabola the beer or a beer called Pugachev's Cobra? I hate wasting my time looking for those in the Pinot Noir aisle."

Don't worry, guys. I just judge the rubes that will only buy the latest beer to have commercials running around the clock. So right now that's the Redd's Apple Ale, Third Shift and Straw-ber-rita crowd.

Oh, and the people that thumb their nose at BMC drinkers but pick up Shock Top or Blue Moon.

OH OH! The Four Loko drinkers too. And also the... hmm. Ok. I judge a lot of people. But not the craft beer crowd. No. Not them... err, us.

If you're in a good shop I highly recommend chatting up the staff. Usually we'll ask if someone needs help and other customers will chime in and join the convo. It's like an in person BA forum but much more exciting.

Where I go buy beer they understand my needs and wants. They do their best ability to get me what I want, but always fall short. Not really, I live in Indiana, how could they really fail! Yet, there are many beers I have not had and can not get ahold of. Anyone want to trade?

After going on vacation & not being there for a couple of weeks, I was told that they were ready to send a search party out for me & I was not supposed to leave without letting them know again...

I feel like they think we're annoying when we ask things. I've met employees that actually want to talk cause they have a lot of knowledge about beer, etc. but there are those guys that just want nothing to do with it.

I work at a liquor store with a great beer selection, so for me it's the other way around. Like when a customer says to me "Man, you have a hell of a beer selection here", and then leaves with a 12 pack of Natty Light.

I get the common - can I help you find something/why is this guy still here like others have said.
Only once has a tw cashier said "did you know how much this cost when you picked it up?" Which is maybe not the best sales skills.

I work at a beer distributor just outside of Pittsburgh, and we have no restrictions on special orders. We even distribute lists of everything our wholesalers offer, so if they carry it, we will gladly order it for the customer...as long as they have it in stock, of course...

I called a local store today and asked "hey, I have two beers on hold and i was just calling to make sure they are still available before i drive over."

Without asking my name or the beers, the guy says 'yeah, they're here.'

    Awesome.
