Can you explain the shirt to me? I'm guessing it's showing a brewing setup of some sort?
The symbols are reminiscent of chemistry, which Heisenberg has little association to...

Thanks, my buddy explained this to me when I mentioned it to him. I don't watch TV. Now I think doing a kristalweizen is spot-on.

Anyway, I might be going to Session 2 with a buddy, but I won't know til the last minute. Deadline on Monday.

Also got the shirt. My fiancé also got Mr Sparkle & Soul Glo... Mr Sparkle wins in the beer looks department with injected sparkles, lol. Soul Glo was great as always. Some pretty kickass glassware as well.

 

Step 1: fill growler with Pumking at Growler Room. Put in cooler.

Step 2: go to ABW 2nd Anniversary. Drink all the BA Sputnik.

Step 3: ...profit?

 

All the cool kids went to the 3-6.

 

Had a good time, my toddler walked around there like he owned the place. All anniversary shirts were sold out when I went to merch table. the kristalwiezen was great. Ba Sputnik too.

 

Step 1: enjoyed the plain ol sputnik

Step 2: purchase Sputnik metal growler

Step3: went to growler room and filled growler ( see step 2) with all day ipa

We actually made up our own session, apparently and were there 1:30 till 4:00

 

This is true.

 

We got there at 3:30 and waited in the line for waiting in lines. Worth it.

 

I think we went at the perfect time... no lines longer than maybe 5-6 people for beer the entire time we were there. When we were leaving, we saw the big line to get in (might've been closer to 3:30 now that I think about it), whereas at 1:30, we just strolled right in the door with no line.

Only complaint I heard was that people wanted more tickets during the same session. FWIW, I was pretty damn happy after the 5 pours I got.

 

Question ABW guys... Is Heisenberg going to make it out to distro, or was it just an Anniversary thing? I'd really like to pick up a growler for the Breaking Bad finale, heh.

Personally, as a fan of wheat beers, I thought it was great. My fiance` couldn't get enough.

PS: I poured a H&G One They Call Zoe into the ABW glass my girlfriend had Mr. Sparkle in when I got home and I think I accidentally made a H&G/ABW Colab beer: Sparkly Zoe Dechanel.

 

If anyone was wondering what the Anniversary pilsner glass looked like... this is me trying to take a picture of Mr. Sparkle with mixed results:



Seems to hold ~10-11oz.

 

Anyone have an extra shirt?

 

The Heisenberg shirts were movin'. I got mine as soon as I got there at 1:30pm and they were already out of Medium and Large, IIRC. Pays off to be a large format BA sometimes! I heard they were sold out by 3-ish.

 

Yeah, I think 5 was just fine, even with two tabs for a full pour of BA Sputnik.
