I'm certainly part of the minority, but I actually enjoy alpha king more than zombie dust.

I would if I still lived in/frequented Norcal. It could really put this brewery on the map.

I know this sounds funny, but I don't think we sing the praises of Sierra Nevada Torpedo enough. What other beer has that kind of delicious hop flavor, is available almost anywhere and often for less than 10 bucks a 6-pack?

Some others that I think are flying a bit low:

    Southern Tier IPA

Odell IPA (I know you folks out west are laughing at me, but no one in the east (who isn't on BA), has ever heard of this and it's pretty damn good!)

Green Flash Imperial IPA is excellent and much less expensive than some of the others in that class

Speaking of pale ales that get overshadowed by zombie dust, I think Sun King Osiris is amazing as well. I would buy cases of it if I had the opportunity.Indiana holds my three favorite pale ales for sure.

The problem with Victory by me, is that since it does fly under the radar, it's rarely ever fresh. I've seen six packs on shelves that are like a year old. However fresh Headwaters and Prima Pils are both AMAZING

Karl Strauss Pintail. One of the biggest tasting surprises I've experienced in a while.

I got one in a trade, and have been itching for more ever since then. I'm confident that you won't be let down.

Not to be a homer but Cafe Royale is excellent. Also the Harpoon Black IPA but you can only get it in those stupid variety packs.

For crazy imperial stuff Embrasse, for any beer really any solid light lager is severely overlooked. Had a Metropolitan Flywheel Zwickel the other day that was fantastic.

I love me some DIPA, RIS and Barleywine but this is a good beer.

I agree about Dark Horse Crooked Tree--it's the best IPA I've ever had, and I've had Pliny the Elder. Another great brew that more people should try is Brau Brothers Sheephead.

I think everyone on BA gives Pliny the Elder the recognition it deserves. Its an incredible beer. I think its just tough to find. I live in NY i cant find the damn thing anywhere
