You sure? I have a hard time believing they sold that many cases in a few days. Maybe they just stacked the last case on top of cases of something else.

This will probably get deleted due to not being neer related but if you go visit but some red dragon cheese! Such an awesome cheese and they are now the lone place I'm aware of that carries it locally.

Any word on the coffee and vanilla varieties? I recall JA saying a few weeks ago that they would be available soon but I haven't heard a peep since.

Thanks. I checked their twitter earlier but there wasn't anything on there. Looks like I might have to head over there next Thursday.

Any idea how much Vanilla Bean and/or Coffee BA Framminghammer is? I really want to get a trade setup.

The regular barrel-aged variety was $6 at the brewery. I would imagine a dollar or two higher for the vanilla/coffee. I've always found Jack's Abby to be extremely reasonable with pricing.

Thanks. Wanted to make sure any offers I make are reasonable... I guess I'll post a pre-trade offer in here, and if no bites, I'll move to the ISO:FT section.

ISO: pre-trade for Vanilla Bean Framminghammer and/or Coffee Framminghammer. FT: Freetail Ananke 1:1 or 2:2

Related info: Freetail Ananke is being released May 11th. I have solid plans to go to the release at the brewery. If you want to expand the trade a bit, could add some tasty locals on both sides. Anyways, please BM me if you're interested in the Ananke, or even trading for something else. Cheers!

Anyone know what kind of barrels were supplied by Julios for the Vanilla and Coffee variants?

FWIW - while the coffee + vanilla specific barrels might very well be Willett (I have no idea), the BA Framinghammer in general are probably not all Willett. they're barrels from Kentucky Bourbon Distillers, and they're not sure exactly which they got. most are probably Willett and Johnny Drum.

Ok, I asked them, they say Willett so thats all I got.

Actually, it depends on how you look at it. Kentucky Bourbon Distillers is a.k.a. Willett Distilling Company. And they bottle many different brands including Willett proper.

Gotcha. Makes sense. So I'm referring to the brands of the barrel, not the distiller.

To be completely anal about it , KBD/Willett is not a distiller in a strict sense, but only a bottler. Only last year Willett started (or re-started) distilling their own whiskey. Everything they bottle, including multiple brand names, are distilled by somebody else.
