I can't see any of the pics posted either. You can post them directly from google unless its a google docs link. Upload them to imgur or photobucket.

It was an odd tasting for sure, there was a 2011 Abacus sitting there and a can of Heady Topper and people were opening more bottles and passing over them.

I think the Kentucky Barrel Aged Ale stole the show however.

Had a very good time again. Everyone has been really cool and lots of great beers to try... I got to sip some Heady Topper and Creme Brulee... good day indeed.

Putting Heady and Creme Brûlée in that same sentence makes me sad.

So I double checked and my tasting glass was only 3 oz like I said.

Lol. Yeah, but only at the line .

I think we were all just having fun with you. I never doubted you.

I don't think anyone was doubting how much the glass weighed, just the volume you said it could hold. (ba-dum-TSH "drum roll")

Yeah just a little friendly ribbing. We always have extra beer after the tasting anyway...

May need to have my December graduation tasting at Nobi. There would be some great bottles. They'd be the best I've brought to any share.

Only thing is it would need to be dreadfully close to Christmas. Like on the 22nd. Since I'd graduate on the 15th. But maybe if I dropped a few names you guys might be interested in doing such a tasting. Kuhnhenn Raspberry Eisbock, Cantillon St. Lamvinus, Crooked Stave Persica, Lou Pepe Kriek 2008 (maybe), 2012 & 2013 (512) WBDPP. Just to name a few.

If this were to happen I might bring out some big guns as well.

Christmas time bottle share at Nobis!

Any idea when the next one of these will be going down?? I can't believe I've been missing these so close to my house!

I think the Nobi bottle share has been my favorite so far out of the Flying Saucer downtown sour/funk tasting and Ananke bottle share. It's smaller. There isn't a whole ton of beer being opened at once, so I don't miss anything. And I am able to remember everyone's name. I'll definitely be there June 2nd unless something comes up!
