You can go ahead and ask any of my previous traders, I go $4$ all the time, I just dont deal with people who inflate prices... my comment was more tongue in cheek way of saying I wouldnt trade with that guy. aka do to him what he did to you.

Yeah, I mean, I was a bit aggressive in my statement. I wasn't attacking you personally or calling you a bad trader, but the whole "well, he did this wrong thing first so he deserves to have it happen to him" is a common sentiment that I personally feel is f'd up. It's a pet peeve if you will.

I understand price inflating happens and it can be douchenozzles profiteering, but it's also possible he paid close to it (at Apex or other bars). Pretty hard to prove either way but there's no way I'd expect someone to pay the difference out of their pocket from what they paid if I want to have a trading relationship with them going forward. If not, I'll just wait for someone I do want to trade with going forward to run into the same beers.

I do agree that inflated price quotes do raise red flags in a potential trading partner though (if that's the point you were getting at)

You're not going to be walking out of there, not after you try Bourbon Fred, Fred and Adam FtW, Matt, and vintages.

Apex had it for 26 dollars per 12oz, but they are sold out too. As far as I know, no one else has it available to go. Next release is in 2016.

People should take note that the 2016 release is going to be in Ardbeg barrels (whereas the 2011 bottling was in Elijah Craig bourbon barrels) and as such, it's reasonable to expect a significant difference in taste. I think it'd deserve an alternate option in BA, but since it'll still be labeled and released as Adam FtW, I wonder if it will be separated into Scotch & Bourbon barrel listings.

That might be because he knows I have already gotten the chance to try that beautiful beast.

To be more accurate, you got the chance to try the best of the past couple years' worth of that beautiful beast. And you know they have a wood/special tap in addition to the regular lineup.
