I think turnout will be higher than last year, but I feel everyone will get their fair share. 750 bottles = 62.5 cases. No one should expect to buy 1/10 of all the bottles in their 1st trip through the line. Some people in this thread seem to believe they should be able to. I get that they are trying to "hook up" people that can't go, but that can't always happen. What if the turn out is around 100 people?

 

I tried reading it at Barnes and Noble once. Didn't like how the story was told backwards ala Memento.

 

I'm thinking that if there is a big turn out that the limit will be 4 bottles/ person like it is for La Muerta. However, I doubt that the turn out will be as big as it is for La Muerta. Remember that just because there is a lot of talk on BA does not mean that there is a lot of talk amongst the locals in SA not on BA. I'm also assuming that if there is a limit it will be lifted after everyone has gone through the line. It seems reasonable that most people that want a case should be able to get a case, but it seems unreasonable for anyone to ever expect to get 2+ cases of a beer that has such a low bottle count.

 

I don't think La Muerta had limits last year.

This. Exactly. Do I like having the ability to send awesome locals to my distant beer friends? Of course. Any brewery release is questionable though, you get what one can, and be grateful that awesome beer exists locally(ish).

Freetail does an amazing job at hosting us for the bottle shares, and they keep us informed on everything they can. They deserve all the love, support, and sales that may come their way.

I get that it can be frustrating trying to find local Trade fodder, but gotta say, sometimes it is best to keep thoughts of self entitlement to one's self. Plus, you will eat shit for months around these parts if you start acting selfish.

I've never had trouble landing anything I want, and our distro is way worse than when I started on this sight. (In Corpus at least) Hell we barely got Jester King a few weeks back.

I don't care about the limit. If anything I like it because it'll give me a chance to grab some. Like I said before I can't make it so thats the only thing I'm worried about. Just being able to get at least one.
