    20 Tap was also on my list but I thought I would skip a regular bar and try out one of the several breweries. The girlfriend does love Belgians so I was thinking Brugge.

    Making the drive from MKE late Friday night, staying at the Hilton (ooh la la fancy me)--really looking forward to this and just to exploring some good beer spots/bottle shops in Indy

    Just so u out of towners know.. There are NO alcohol sales on Sundays in Indiana ... So buy all your beer on Friday or Saturday. Now restaurants and bars will be able to sell u beer but no bottle shops /liquor stores. Flat 12 will be open through on Sunday and can sell carry out growler fills

    Some states have to protect the ability to watch football on Sundays. In the NFL We Trust :wink:

    i really don't give a rip about no liquor/beer sales on sundays...in a way, i think it promotes going to a brewery for a growler of something...which i think is even better.

    I agree. I'm sure Upland, Sun King, Flat 12, and Triton make a killing on Sundays AND they get to see their loyal customers face to face. Win/win.

    how does one watch football without being able to purchase and consume beer? You expect me to plan ahead and buy on Saturday?--pschaw:grinning:

    by the by, out of Flat 12, Sun King, and Triton, which is the one I should make sure I dont miss out on visiting on Sat or Sun? Ive done Upland before and wasnt super impressed, but Im interested in the other 3...

    I agree with the order, but Flat 12 and Sun King are close by each other so if you have time, just go to both. If you make it on Saturday make sure to go across the street from Flat 12 to Smoking Goose. You won't be sorry.

    I'll (likely) be pouring at Flat 12 on Sunday if that's when you choose to come in. I can walk you through the lineup if you feel like geeking out a little bit.
