Love Child #3 - Illinois

For real, where is this beer?!! Missed out last year, would like to get ONE in Chicago this year!

 

i had to trade for #2, and it was a highlight of my beer consumption for the year...it was outstanding. Looks like I'll have to trade again for #3...anyone know if quantities are the same? I remember #2 being something like 6 bottles a store

 

I managed to find one last year.. it was dissappointing.

But this one sounds like it might be better.

 

Birthday Suit 20th sounds like it might be a lot better than the 19th version.. but who knows..

 

There's a lot more this year.

 

but has anyone seen it, or has it come and gone like a fart in the wind or a cherry rye amongst truckin chasin chicago?

 

I don't think it hit distro yet in Chicago.

 

just talked to Binnys Glen Ellyn and they know nothing of Love Child #3. (((FYI - Binnys has some craz-balls deals on foreign beers. I bought one of my favs; BFM Spike and Jeromes Rye Barleywine. Its flat, weirdly sour, and bizarrely delicious.)))

 

Lovechild#2 was a tie for best new beer last year, with Citra Ninja. I can't wait for #3. Though I still haven't heard any official word on Chicago release.

 

When will it be hitting the north burbs?

 

Is it more or less sour?

 

Yup! Don't have a precise arrival date yet, but I've been told to expect multiple cases.

 

Any Hanssens still on the shelf or did it get cleared out?

 

The reviews make it sound more sour.

Last year's was.. well.. it was dissappointing (and I try to be nice in all my rates if I can).

I seem to remember a post on here from a guy saying it was less, but maybe I was reading it wrong.

 

It was supposed to be May 1st, so i'd excpect in the next week or so.
