The first part is true. We'll be releasing 6 different specialty IPAs in tallboys before the end of the year (that's the plan, anyway).

Lutter is right in that the cans will come in a 4-pack box, which will distinguish one run from the next.

Is the Double IPA the same recipe as one of the anniversary beers last year or something new?

Thanks! We wanted that to be the first canned release, but the can production kept getting pushed back so we decided to just do a draft release. We will make it again at the end of the year and put in cans.

It's brand new. The Anniversary beers were somewhere between a Double IPA and Barleywine. This one will be pure Double IPA. Paler color, drier finish, etc.

Any idea when we'll start seeing these on the shelves?

Cans are in, boxes are in, beer is conditioning.

Based on our current schedule, it's looking like we'll fill the cans early next week and have them on shelves before the weekend.

Sunrise posted this last week on their FB page. I think we should be seeing these by the end of the week, right?

That's what I said, but turns out I was wrong. Sorry about that.

Unless something goes tragically wrong, we will fill the cans today or tomorrow and start sending them out next week. I will let you know before it happens.

In non-related news, Einhorn has reached it's target Ph. That means it should be ready to drink in about 2-3 weeks.

Whenever I go to Austin when it is on tap, I am bringing all my empty growlers to get them filled with Einhorn!

I was told that this will be on tap at the Growler Room, so hopefully.
