Festina Peche is actually pretty good. But long gone.

You may find some Bonnie the Rare hiding on shelves in a few places.

If you're anywhere near the east side of the DFW, AB Beer & Wine in Rockwall still several 4-packs of Festina Peche as of last week.

Austin Beerworks just made a great tap-only one called Einhorn that was draught-only this summer. Only in Austin though. In other news: I'm no help.

Festina Peche is a good, but not great Berliner Weisse.
I prefer Oarsman as far as "commercial" berliner weisse goes.
Seek out Bonnie if you can still find it. Lactic Miracle.

Do ya'll get Dr. Fritz Briem's 1809 Berliner Weisse?? As
far as BWs go, that one is World Class. If you can't find it
in Texas here's a website where you can obtain some for a decent price.

    Yikes!
    No idea, sorry guys.
Oh Well...Vintage Cellar has been raising their shipping rates
up every year it seems. A $100 order turned into a 250$ order solely from shipping.
Pearl Specialty is a new spot that I've been using that has proven promising.

I just traded for 4 packs of new glarus Berliner to hopefully satisfy my Berliner cravings for awhile. Some tx brewery needs to step up and make this style in a bigger capacity. I have been bugging Real Ale to make on for the Brewers Cut series. If they ever do, y'all can thank me.

Anyone know if Favorite Brands is still going to add B United's portfolio? If so, that should mean some Fritz Briem 1809 for Texas. I grabbed a few bottles of it last time I was in Arkansas, and it was deeelicious!

Seriously, Dr. Fritz's 1809 is a world class Berliner. I bought 6 500ml bottles via Vintage Cellar (pricey fucks) last year to reward myself for getting a solid tax return.

As soon as ya'll get it, I'm gonna be all over that like gangbusters,
otherwise I'm going to AR :]

I think there's still some floating around at the Specs by me. I'm pretty sure it's where craft beer goes to die. Can regularly find all sorts of things "long gone" there. No jester kings sadly.

Zio Carlo Brewpub on Magnolia st in Ft Worth is going to release their new brew, a berlinerweisse, this week.

"Batch number 3 is almost done fermenting. We still don't have a name for it but it's a Berlinerweisse. It will be light bodied and tart, just in time for summer"

    Cheers!
