Ahh gotcha. That makes more sense. Still pretty rough considering some people were looking for a case+

man, the bottle share was crazy. there was 5 picnic tables full of beer bottles that were not avail. in texas. the more rarer beers were empty but was able to taste a few others. We got there late. 10:15. still had a blast. got our 4 bottle limit. some people were getting bottles with out tickets before everyone with tickets got theirs. Thanks for the kbs and clonies thanks for the trade of bcbs. and to the guy rob, he busted out bcbs coffee, ivan the terrible, and surly pentagram after the no more bottles open rule came down. not sure what was up with that. AWeSOME TIME!

I couldn't agree more with everything. There was just so much to try!! Too bad that the fancy Bruery stuff was gone when I got there at 9:30. Big thanks to starkmarvelo and canadianghetto for their trades!

Second shout outs to mhenson for the Three Floyd's assault and kcbaby for the Black Magick treatments (they were unbelievably good!).

It was great finally putting names to faces!

ISO: Ananke FT: bottles a couple of trading partners who I promised Ananke can get?

Damnit! I thought I read earlier that Ananke bottles hung out for a few weeks before they were all gone...

I hate to say it, but welcome to TX craft beer in 2013. Things are getting crazy :slight_frown:

No shit...the KBS debacle the other day was outrageous. Think the posts I read about Ananke hanging around must have been referring to the "good ol' days"....

Just woke up with a nice hangover from the Choc. Rain assault. Lol

Thanks to everyone I shared beers with today. It was especially awesome to get to try the number one rated pizza beer on beer advocate. Never thought I'd be that lucky. Thanks Mike!

Surprisingly, we were unable to detect any off taste in the Ranger Creek small batch series. Especially the 4.... That was extra tasty.....

Did anyone pick up a couple of Harpoon Brewery taster glasses. I suck at these bottle shares... I always lose my glasses

WTF was with the "put the bottles away" crap anyways? One if the waitresses almost threw away my growler.

Also: I have no idea where my Deschutes taster ended up, ugh.

I think that was the signal that the bottle share was over and it was time to transition over to freetail operating hours. Not a problem with me, as always MAJOR props to Scott, Jason and the freetail crew- thanks for keeping a great Texas tradition going!!

Pechecus was also the BOMB. I absolutely love that beer.

Finally sobering up - nothing like being drunk by 10 am. Glad to meet everyone I met today - wish I could remember you all! Fuckin bananas.

And I was 2 people behind the last guy to get bottles - got my 4, but wanted more! Looked like a lot of girlfriend mules there today

4 can be very good, if uninfected! I had it on cask as Draughthouse some time ago... with cherries, coconut, cocoa nibs, and vanilla beans added. It was delicious.

Had a good time today. Thanks to everyone that shared some good stuff (including food). I want the recipe for those round things with bacon and egg in them. Got to try some 'Loons I hadn't tried before and a good Fantome Saison.

Ps I'm serious about that recipe.
