Ananke Day 2013!

Wanted to thank Clonies, codyhaskell, and canadianghetto for the trades as well. Sorry I had to book, but after working all night and driving to San Antonio, I was completely toast by 1:00.

Drinking a Citra Homebrew someone gave me today (no idea who) and its damn good.

 

I do what I can to help out.

And lol at 4 bottles. Congrats to Freetail for selling all the bottles today.

 

Hopefully it means more bottles next time . They're doing damned good business!

 

This has been a fantastic week for beer. In addition to my three KBS and three Parabola, I left the bottle share today with:



...in addition to trying like 30 awesome beers and having a pour of one of my all time favorites, WBADPP.

The bottle share was insane... I was mostly stalking Loons while people were distracted by other beers. Couldnt believe some of the beers that were just sitting around unloved.

 

canadianghetto (Will) is a good guy. He threw a Bruery Sour in the Rye in my lap while I was getting in my car to leave.

 

I am so sorry dude. I don't know what happened.

 

You put a bag (Czech Store?) on the table by the glass, the wind inflated the bag, and the bag blew into his glass, which got knocked over by it! Aside from the actual breaking, the sequence of events is just so absurd that it's kinda funny.

That was a freaking awesome share and only woulda been better if my allergies didn't screw up my taste buds. You guys were probably pouring me skunked bud light lime and I still thought it was walez bro.

 

Wasn't it one hour? Just about a line and a half's worth of people, too (meaning that most people bought at or near the bottle limit).

 

More like American Beauty.

 

Not for anything above a couple hundred bottles as far as I know. Everything used to sell out before they got a bottling line and did limited amounts by hand.

 

Did you get to try the steel barrel aged Frio? It really brought out the urea.

 

Was it an hour?

Time was fuzzy today. I had to take a nap before driving back to Austin to sleep off some of the "bliss" I was feeling.

And I lost 2 tasters. I think that's the sign of a really good tasting, lol.

 

That's what it seemed like to me, and I think that somebody else mentioned it being about an hour on the last page. I too took a good nap after nearly falling asleep at a table. Then I got some whataburger and tried to nap some more, but I was too full. ...shameful.

EDIT: AT 1:05, not IN 1:05. Woops. more shame.

 

I was and still am chill about it. It's just a glass and can be replaced. They still make 'em. Now if it was a Cantillon balloon glass or something they don't make anymore . I'll BM ya.
