are there any numbers as far as how much more/less they made of FUN005 vs FUN003?

 

I'm pretty sure quantities have improved over time, especially when you consider how much bodacious was out there. That beer was hard as hell to find. The only outlier is Fragile though which I think they had more of than BBA Hellfighter.

I think Roll in the Hay however will be as limited as Bodacious.

 

I asked them on FB. Lets see if we get some info.

 

so current plan is to attack specs at 10am. then get some breakfast at blacksmith, then attack the surrounding specs, d&q and hebs in the area. who's up for that?

I don't plan that far a head. We have a Uverse installer coming that am so, I'm not sure whats up just yet.

 

This blows... I have testing I have to attend out at beltway 8 and 290 starting Monday morning at 8, so I won't be able to sneak out of the office at 10 am and hit a couple of specs...

Anyone have an idea how long this may be on the shelves, or if it will make it out to a specs/kroger in that area by monday?

I can probably get the beer guy at my usual specs to stash me a bottle... maybe... but i'd really love to snag 3 or 4 so I have a couple to feed the cellar...

 

Just met the "beer guy" at my regular Kroger.... he dug a Fra-gee-lay and a BBA Hellfighter out of the back for me! What a score!

 

I have been going to several Krogers and HEBs asking to talk to the beer guys because I know theres still a good amount of BBA Hellfighter out there. Nice pick up.

 

I'm looking forward to 005 because they didn't keep in in the barrels as long, They wanted to let the base beer shine through a bit more and I fuckin' love OG Hellfighter. Wish I was more knowledgeable of just how good 003 was - I prolly had my hands on about 12 of them (one at a time, never at once) and I'm down to 1 lone bottle.

Y'all gonna be mad at me with 005, That's all I'ma say lol

 

I'll be there. Probably wearing a blue shirt. I have to be back in town at 3 at the latest, but I'd like to not be gone all day since I have to work tonight and tomorrow, running on four hours of sleep.
