yes, I will not allow myself to go beyond $1 per ounce. I'm sure I may be selling myself short, but after trying brooklyn black ops that I didn't pay for, I feel justified in my decision..

    No....

Though repeat buys aren't going to happen with bombers that aren't exceptional as I'm not crazy enough to waste money twice too often.

My limit is always based on what the rest of my haul is for that day. I can feel better about spending $30 on a bottle if that's all I am getting.

I turned down doom for $16. I believe my limit is around $11 as that is the most I have spent on one. I am sure that there is something that could tempt me to spend more.

Barrel Aged or Sour? No real limit, but I've never gone over $30
    Imperial strength beer? $10
    Regular strength beer? $5

That being said, I rarely pick up bombers of anything anymore. I never buy bombers from new breweries as they are almost always higher than what I am willing to pay and usually come up short in quality and taste compared to the six and four packs I can get from Lagunitas, Stone, Deschutes, Sierra Nevada, etc...

    most i will spend:

$5 if i never heard of it at all.
$10 if i have heard of it and never tried it.
$15 if i enjoyed it and it has an abv less than 10
$25 if i enjoyed it and it has an abv of 10 or above

obviously those numbers are not set in stone and not always a given....i mean i enjoy Duvel, but i don't want to spend $12 for a bottle i will drink in a sitting.

I paid $20 for Doom, wish I would of paid $16 actually.... I knew it was high, but I figured I would be buying it only once...

Normally I don't go over $9. Most of my 22 oz purchases are cheaper than that. I bought a bottle of Juliet to cracks on my upcoming birthday. I went outside my normal range for that and Saison Brett last year.

I'm in the $10-15 range over the past year (just bought two bottles of Parabola). However, I'm starting to find enough choices in the under $10 range that it's starting to get harder to spend more for a bomber...

I agree with half of this statement. If I could get Ruination for $6 it would have a permanent place in my fridge. However, I'm still in the early stages of beer advocacy, so I still get great value at that level. The pricey one-offs and special releases can wait. So it doesn't TOTALLY depend upon the beer for me.

I don't, but I've learned that most of it is not worth the money.

Having spent 12$ and up for 12oz and 375ml bottles, I have no problem spending a little coin on 22oz and 750ml bottles.

No limit here. If I want it and I can afford it, I will buy it at least once.
