Was just at Casanova's and they have posters up for Dark Horse. They are tapping kegs of all 3 of the single hop Crooked Tree variants (cascade, citra and falconers flight) this Thursday night in The Nova. When I asked they said growlers will be available. I know I'll be there.

I will be interested to try these against the bottled versions that I bought in the sampler pack that I aged so gracefully in a 90 degree car:slight_frown: Epic fail!

I find is real funny they call a Falconers Flight beer a single hop. Falconers flight is a pelletized blend of a bunch of American hops. It ain't single!

I still want to try them all.

The Falconers Flight version is my least favorite by far. Pretty bland and boring.

I sadly thought they all seemed a little bland or perhaps a bit malt heavy.

I have tried the Citra and Cascade and agree the malt profile doesn't allow the hops to really shine. I enjoyed both, but preferred the Double Crooked Tree that followed much more.

Glad I didn't spend the $25+ bones for this sampler pack.
