Love Child #3 - Illinois

I'm nowhere near an expert on sours, but I had this at Dark Lord Day. It was pretty darn sour. I've had Russian River's stuff along with some older Goose Island beers along with having Flanders Fred within the same 30 min of the Love Child #3. I thought it was enjoyable, but again I'm not a sours guy. I wouldn't worry about it not being sour enough though.

 

Looking forward to trying this one. I liked #2 enough, so if this is like that one I'll be happy.

 

This was my wife's favorite beer last year and now hasn't had a beer in 6 or so months as my first born in due August 1, 2013. I have been saving a #2 for the after the birth to celebrate, hoping to grab a # 3 and would be unreal to a #1 and do a vertical in honor.

 

Seen love child #3 near me in Indiana. I can get a bunch and trade if there is any interest.

#2 was hard to get? I guess I got lucky

 

Only in Chicago. I found some at a random grocery store in St. Louis over Labor Day weekend last year. May still be there for all I know.

 

I guess I am far enough west to avoid some of the chaos. Still have to search for the obvious ones like parabola, KBS, etc...this thread will probably make it near impossible to find #3 now.

 

Orland Park Binny's just tweeted that Love Child #3 is in with a 1 bottle limit. Go get it! I can say this as I live nowhere near Orland Park. I was there Saturday though, and they said Raspberry Truffle only lasted 45 minutes. Just so you know what you're up against.

Add the Plainfield Binny's to the list of those with Love Child #3. Twitter is a beautiful thing. Hope I get one out here in Kane County later this week. I have too much beer right now to hunt farther than that.

 

Based on some conversations I've had with the "beer guy" at some stores, there is much more of this to go around. In some cases, stores are receiving multiple cases compared to the six bottles or so that they received of Love Child 2. I think if you were able to find Saison-Brett or BBQ, you should be able to find Love Child 3.

 

I believe that it has finally arrived in the downtown area.

If it was in at Grand it wasn't on the shelf. Was just there around Noon and didn't see any, but didn't ask either.
