New Austin Co-op Brewery - 4th Tap

I agree with your sentiment about more brewpubs south of the water, but it looks like that's going to be a production brewery. Either way, I'm intrigued to see what comes of it.

They will be a production brewery. They are still very early in this.

 

It'd be nice to have just about anything craft centered located south of Ben white honestly

 

I'm just counting the days until The ABGB takes all of my money.

yeah there arent enough beer, breweries down south. (of which ALL of them are south aside from nxnw, twisted x, blackstar and abgb, oh and uncle billys)

glad i moved to bastrop where ill have to fund my own brewpub......

 

Black Star is looking at opening a new location down in heathentown.

 

It also sounds like 4th tap wont be around until sometime next year. At least from what I have heard....

Yeah, and the beer is Meh to decent, the food is good and the service pretty much sucks donkey ass.

The brown they have though, was very good.

 

That is disappointing to hear about Bastrop. I have been to the place twice before it had it's own beer but was looking forward to their beer. The location is great and the deck is great, was hoping the beer would be as well. I have yet to eat there though, so no comment on food.

 

I've actually never been. I think the brewer had some sort of ties to South Austin Brewing at one point... Ugh.

 

He was, but before they opened. Early on.

 

so its just some homebrewers with a Facebook page?
