25% barrel aged... that equals 75% NOT barrel aged... mmmmm... I taste the NOT aged part more than the aged part.

Founders wins me over in the barrel category. KBS is so incredibly perfect and unique, it's just a wonderful beer. BCBS is fantastic as well, but so different that I don't even look at them as the same style. Almost like Coke and Pepsi.

Want to add allagash curieux into this mix, something unique to the world of barrel aging but such a wonderful beer.

All of the Firestone barrel stuff. Their barrels have a very distinct flavor to me. Does anybody know where they got them from? Also KBS is quite good and the RR sours

That Curieux is one of a kind. Most ba beers are stouts n it's nice to have a belgiumish, hoppy, bourbony beer to see what barrels can do to beer other than stout/porters n barleywines

Everyone's going to talk about bourbon-aged stouts and some barley wines, so I'll stick to oddities.

Russian River Deviation and Toronado 20 (along with the rest of their sours)
