Really? That didn't seem to be the case when I was there at 5.

Huh. I found it mentioned on Bottleworks' site. Oh well.

I remember seeing that, too, which is part of the reason I stopped in tonight, but as far as could tell there were none to be had.

I was there at 5 and there were no bottles for sale. They were offering $4 samples of the SBW barleywine and the Lamb ($4 for both). No bottles for takeaway.

Huh. There must have been an earlier plan with some BBomb bottles that got scrapped.

Speaking of bottles, when I was at Fremont on Friday I saw cases of The First Nail sitting in the backroom.

They weren't for sale, I just saw them behind the bar back in the brewing area.

Kudos to Bryan Dombrowski at Elliott Bay Pizza in Mill Creek and the Northwest rep for Stone Brewing - apologies for not remembering his name - for hosting a very enjoyable beer pairing dinner:

In addition to the menu items we tasted 06, 07, 10 verticals.
    Nice.

Yeah, Bryan's a good guy and I consider Elliot Bay kind of a secret little spot around the North end. Not only is their beer great but the pizza is absolutely phenomenal.

Are you gonna be at sour fest NWer?

No. I'm going to pass on it this year.

I'm jumping on the noon train to Seattle and will be heading to Bottleworks for the Stone event when I arrive (anyone know if Deviation is still available for on-site?), then proceeding to the Latona Cask Fest. Tomorrow, Sour Fest!

Looking forward to putting some faces & names to BA users.

    Kev,
When I was there on Monday they still had Deviation on the list.

I agree. Great beer selection and good pizza (wouldn't say phenomenal but I definitely enjoy it). I am glad I only live about 4 miles away, though 164th can be a pain in the ass.

All told, Eliot Bay = awesomeness.

I'll be at the Latona Cask Fest tonight around 7:15 or 7:30. Super short walk from my house.

I was planning on heading by Bottleworks this evening as well. I will probably get there between 4 and 5.

Already 10 peeps in line for Sourfest.

Matt just showed up in a Lincoln town car with a cigar.

I had to get the bus.

I have a feeling Sour Fest is going to be an absolute madhouse tonight. I've got a couple backup plans just in case I never make it inside.
