Just had a BB#3 with lunch at HomeField Grill. I never got to try BB1 for comparison, but this was delish. Also, the Kona Beach sandwich was awesome!

 

Had it at Jack Mac's and enjoyed it. I really want to bring one home - so any updates on DFW?

 

fyi: looks like brews brothers in galveston is going to roll out bb1, bb2, bb3 bottles and a cask of dr13 throughout the night during their re-opening this weekend.

I witness the last 2 bottles of BB3 being sold in front of my face when I went to try to pick up 2. I got 1, just got 2 this week, and struck out on 3 a couple of days ago.

Anybody that's had BB1, how does BB3 compare?

 

Much more creamy and balanced. Smooth and without the hot bourbon. I think BB3's more ready to enjoy now than the BB1 was upon release.

 

Damn it. I'm going to have to find some or trade.

 

I think pretty much anyone who posts on here has had it before.

 

I've had a few lurkers BM me, or guys that haven't posted on the thread. But yeah you're right.

i actually havent had barely any of the Saint Arnold stuff. I had one devine reserve and it was good. i think that was it. BUT! im new to TEXAS

 

I haven't had it! I do have a bottle, though, and I would have totally misses that if not for Chris. I guess I'm in the minority .

 

Yeah I meant to include in that, if you have a bottle or know you'll be getting a bottle in a trade, that disqualifies you. I want to get these beers into the hands of people who haven't tried them, and have little to no chance of ever getting any.

 

Very cool of you to do this again. I was able to try a bottle but never got one to take home.
