500 gal flood on the boil and 315 gal flood on the mash. So we can churn out 7 barrels of the high gravity stuff with ease now, and up to 14 barrels of berliner in one go.

    May 16, 2013 Update

Another quick note for our friends this week...

MariLime Law, our collaboration with Tired Hands in Pennsylvania, is out now at both Binny's Lincoln Park & West Lakeview Liquors for FwB pickup. 8.0% ABV, loaded with lime juice and zest, mild-low bitterness, very crushable as we say... but if you don't like limes... then maybe this one isn't for you. $9.99/22oz bottle

Here's a look at our events:

5/16 - Beer Under Glass (SOLD OUT) - MariLime Law & Close Encounter
5/16 - Fischman's Tap This Local - CA$H 4 Golden Ale (should be on all week also)
5/17 - Unicornucopia - End of Days, NvU, CA$H, A Foolish Wit, MariLime
    5/17 - Half Acre Anniversary! - MariLime & Unicorn's Revenge
    5/18 - Everett's South Beloit tasting
5/19 - Standard Market Westmont tasting
5/19 - Owen & Engine Brewers & Butchers Dinner - MariLime (should be on all week too)
    5/21 - Binny's Southloop Meet & Greet
    5/22 - Grand & Western Liquors tasting
5/23 - Northwest Side Craft Beer Ride - NvU
    5/23 - HeadQuarters/Solemn Oath Small Brewery Tapping - NVU & TBD
5/25 - Green Lady Local Tap Takeover - NVU, MariLime, Majestic, & TBD
+ Unicorn's Revenge should be on at the Maproom for most of the week, BarBar Black Sheep, Smallbar Division & Gene's Sausage will have kegs of NvU, and Fountainhead will have a keg of CA$H

Hope I get a taste of MariLime tonight at Beer Under Glass. That's #1 on my hit list along with the Solemn Oath/Lost Abbey collaboration and fingers crossed for Sofie Paradisi from Goose.

How about the name "Orange you glad we didn't name it Scurvy". More appropriate for an Orange IPA/DIPA I suppose.

Hahahah... I love the name, but I think the Orange Truffle is going to be in the Abduction stout series.

So for those who have tried both, should I crack open MariLime or Unicorn's Revenge tonight?. I was fortunate to grab one of each today.

Why is this an "or" question? The correct answer is to open both :grinning:

Haha, I would love to try both tonight, but I plan on reviewing them both on here, and I find it hard to review 2 DIPAS in an evening without having a semi-wrecked palate.
