Stone and Port/Lost Abbey are pretty much right next to each other.
Alesmith is pretty much right next to Ballast Point, White LABS, Hess, and Green Flash.

I'd say the two areas are about 15-30 minutes away from each other depending on highway conditions.

Congratulations! While in Yosemite you'll find Epic IPA (Mammoth Brewing) on the bar menu at the Mountain Room Bar @Yosemite Lodge at the Falls. On the drive up from Monterey to SF, I would make a stop at Sante Adarius Rustic Ales in Capitola--great beer, great people. Heads up on directions--You have to go through a residential area to get to there. So, if you think you're lost, most likely you are not. When in SF, sitting on a stool at City Beer, ask the staff and they will point you in the right direction. Also, while in SF check out the Church Key. It's cozy and surrounded by many food eateries. There's good pizza around the corner (Tony's?). Ask the bartender, she'll point you in the right direction.
