My local grocer seems to have a decent selection but it rarely changes. That includes Knee Deep.Had some 2 week old Hoptologist that nearly blew me away. But the Simtra seems to be a couple months old.For awhile I saw some bottles with the OLD caps. And even some with the old date codes.:slight_frown:

GF seems to be all over the map.It took 3 tries to get some fairly fresh Palate Wrecker (which BTW didn't really grab me that well.) and when I check dates in my travels I see Mar Feb even Dec.?!?

stone and green flash always arrive about a week or two before their best by dates here in CT. I have had to send back many cases of stone for being "expired" when we get them. I guess the shipping and processing as well as the journey across the country take too long and because of that stone products have really suffered in sales here (obviously not the limited release stuff).

It's a double edged sword for Stone. They make the date well known but it comes back to bite them when the beer is old and on shelves.

I've had pretty good luck with Firestone Walker. And by pretty good luck I mean I haven't seen old product nearly as much as I do with some other WC breweries. But yea, Flower Power kicks the shit out of most of those beers anyways. And I can easily get < 2 week old Hoponius Union, so I'm not too mad

Bothers me that so many bottles seem to have bottling dates that can be rubbed off the bottle ... like they can't laser etch it or something. I don't care much for a bottle that says:

    fh/19/13

Just had some Inversion with a best buy date of 8/7/2013....I would assume it's 180 days freshness, so it was brewed May 7th I'm assuming. Not too shabby.
