Snagged 3 bottles at Top Shelf in North Hampton, NH. They have 4 left on the shelf as of 6:30pm.

Had both and Hoponius being a lager was incredible but I found Lunch to be superior

I don't understand the Lunch hype. It's a good beer, but nothing spectacular. And at the prices it goes for and it's limited availability I never try to get it. There's better stuff out there

In the interest of saving folks money/trouble, if you like Lunch and do homebrew then you might want to check out Vinny's Pliny the Elder recipe. Just sayin.

Just at the brewery last weekend. They don't do growler fills and don't plan to, I guess. :slight_frown:

    $25 growler? No thanks.

Rising Tide has some very reasonable prices for their growler fills. I believe Spinnaker was like $10.

That's very reasonable...my post was more of a dig at MBC's pricing lol...still love me some MBC on occasion, though.

I totally hear you. But I'm willing to pay the price. Think it's damn tasty and worth it. But it's a treat. Wish I could enjoy more often.

This made my Sunday. It's one thing for us to question Maine Beer's pricing, but for a brewer to do it just further proves our skepticism of their business model. Safe to assume there will be no MBC/Alchemist collab anytime soon.

I was at the brewery this weekend and they were stocked with Lunch bottled from last week. $6 a piece. Which was the same for all beers not named Peeper which was $5. I know $6 for a 16.9oz is deemed over-priced by most here but for me, it is worth it.

The many samples I had at ACBF last year were definitely worthy of all the hype and more. The bottles I got a while ago that were only 2 weeeks old, not nearly as much.
